Hack++ will be a 12-hour event for Vanderbilt students to develop technological products for local Nashville nonprofits and community-oriented organizations that are already partnered with Change++, and for students to create their own projects that aim to improve the Nashville community. Additionally, speakers will present throughout the day on different aspects of product development, emphasizing user experience design and maximizing efficiency while working in a team environment.
Our team has carefully and methodically selected projects that will help our local community, and can realistically be completed within the day we've allocated for our event. It aligns with our organization mission of service and philanthropy, especially directed towards our city. In addition, we provide our student body with opportunities to compete, ideate, collaborate, critically think, and develop as programmers in an out-of-class setting. Many of these projects will be added to our programmers' portfolios, which will improve their resumes and chances of landing great internships and jobs as they progress through their curriculum.
